FOR A FRESH START
Deep cleaning in Melbourne.
The same deep clean and the same price as everywhere we work. Below is what a Melbourne home changes about the job: very soft water, damp grey winters, and getting in and parking at a city apartment.

Good care.
In the little things.
Is it the right clean?
AT A GLANCE
Everything in a standard clean, plus inside oven cleaning, grout, skirting boards, door frames and ceiling fans. Fridge and kitchen cupboard interiors are optional extras.
When it’s been a month or more, before a regular routine starts, or for a seasonal reset.
Tell us within 48 hours of the clean finishing, and an eligible re-clean of the missed part is free under our Care & Cover terms.
More than the everyday clean.

A useful reset before settling into a routine or after a busy season, with inside oven cleaning included. Add fridge and kitchen cupboard interiors if you need them. Tell us about build-up and sensitive surfaces before the visit.
Plan a little access for the extra detail: empty the appliances and cupboards you’d like cleaned. Interior window glass is an optional extra.
Moving into an empty home, or out of one? Book the end of lease & move-in clean instead: it is the detailed clean for an empty home.

Inclusions come from the checklist our cleaners work through on every visit of that service, and the extras offered in booking. Prices are AUD per visit from our booking calculator, including GST and the Care & Cover fee, for a home that has been kept on top of, with no extras or discount code. Prices are the same in every city we serve. Time booked is for one cleaner; a team of two shares it, so they are on site for about half as long. Regrouting, sealing, mould removal and exterior windows are not part of any clean.
Grime has built up past what an everyday clean is booked to catch up on.
Book it as a spring clean once a year, and pair it with our printable spring-cleaning checklist for the jobs we don’t do.
A deep first visit sets the baseline, then standard cleans keep it there.
When you want the inside of the appliances and the edges done, not only the surfaces.
An empty rental needs the end of lease clean, which adds interior windows, inside wardrobes and walls.
A little clarity.
Room by room.
Here’s what’s covered by this clean. Accessible surfaces only; please flag delicate materials, build-up or access needs before your visit.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFOREHAND
Mould removal, hazardous waste, heavy lifting, high-reach areas and chandeliers aren’t part of these domestic cleans. Repairs, pest control and gardening need separate arrangements.
Carpet steam cleaning isn’t part of the clean itself; vacuuming is included. You can add carpet steam cleaning in booking or book it on its own. If your lease asks for a professional carpet clean, keep the receipt.
Regrouting, sealing, exterior windows and other specialist work aren’t part of our cleans. A balcony, patio or garage can be added as an extra; ask the team about anything else before booking.

WHO WE WELCOME INTO YOUR HOME
We look for people who already know how to clean professionally and are committed to quality service. Our application process checks who they are, how they work and whether they are ready for the services they offer.
Cleaners complete an identity check before they can be approved to take bookings.
New applicants tell us about their professional cleaning experience, skills and equipment for the services they offer. Answers that need a closer look are flagged for review.
Every cleaner completes practical safety questions covering cleaning products, surface care and keeping bathroom and kitchen cloths separate. Safety answers that need attention must be resolved before they can take new jobs.
We screen every applicant over the phone before approval.
Our signup flow includes three short cleaning videos with quizzes covering kitchens, bathrooms and living areas.
Our checks continue after approval. Customers can rate every clean. We closely monitor each cleaner’s ratings and feedback, and follow up when a clean falls short.
Each cleaner personally accepts our quality agreement for the services they offer during signup and skills setup. They commit to doing their best to deliver a premium clean and returning at no extra charge if you report a cleaning concern or leave a low rating within 48 hours of your clean ending. The 48 hours is for reporting a concern; the return visit is arranged afterwards.
Team members complete their own checks and make their own quality promise. A team leader’s experience does not replace each cleaner’s personal skills, safety checks or identity verification.
Care & Cover
Every clean comes with Care & Cover: our Happiness Guarantee, published insurance cover and a team to turn to.
Care & Cover isn't an insurance policy, and conditions apply: a re-clean doesn't apply when a clean couldn't go ahead as booked, such as no access, water or power. Care & Cover, in full · Service terms

No.
Usually less descaling, not less cleaning. Most Melbourne suburbs get water well under the 60 mg/L that counts as soft, so taps and screens rarely carry thick scale, but grout, silicone and shower glass still get the full deep clean treatment. Homes on harder supplies around Gisborne, Riddells Creek and Bacchus Marsh are the exception.
In our Melbourne booking history (567 deep and first-visit cleans, November 2017 to August 2024), March, April and November each had 66 to 68 bookings, against 30 in January and 31 to 38 in each month from June to October. The median booking was made 5 days ahead, so allow more notice than that in those busy months.
Arrange a visitor bay or a space in your building's car park and put it in the booking notes. We don't add parking costs to your booking, but if there is no suitable parking the clean may have to be rescheduled.
Yes. The price is set by bedrooms and bathrooms, not by the number of levels, so count every bathroom, including an ensuite, when you book. Build-up, not the shape of the house, is what adds time.

MELBOURNE · LOCAL DETAIL
Melbourne's tap water is soft, so hard white scale is rarely the main job. Yarra Valley Water's 2025-26 report gives mean hardness of 10 to 43 mg/L across its 34 sampling areas (Yarra Valley Water). South East Water's 2024-25 average was 18 mg/L (South East Water), and Greater Western Water's metropolitan localities, such as Richmond (16 mg/L) and Williamstown (22 mg/L), were similar in 2023-24 (Greater Western Water). The national drinking water guidelines call anything under 60 mg/L soft (NHMRC). The exception is the outer north-west and west: Greater Western Water's Gisborne and Riddells Creek supplies averaged 108 mg/L and Darley, in Bacchus Marsh, 95 mg/L. If you live there, mention any white build-up on taps or screens in your booking notes.
Melbourne's damp is grey rather than wet. Olympic Park averages about 578 mm of rain a year, but rain falls on 8 to 9 days a month from May to October, and at the old Melbourne Regional Office station mean 9 am humidity was 77% to 80% from May to July (Bureau of Meteorology; Olympic Park). Victoria's Building and Plumbing Commission lists condensation on windows and sills and mould in bathrooms as the common signs, and drying clothes indoors, poor ventilation and inadequate heating among the causes (BPC). Window sills and tracks, grout and skirting boards are already on the deep cleaning checklist, so a deep clean after winter is mostly a matter of build-up. Mould that keeps coming back, or sits in plaster or behind silicone, is a ventilation or building question, not a cleaning one.
Melbourne has more terraces and townhouses than Australia as a whole. In the 2021 Census, 16.2% of occupied homes in Greater Melbourne were semi-detached, row or terrace houses or townhouses, against 12.6% nationally, and 15.6% were flats or apartments (ABS). In the CBD, 99% of homes are flats or apartments in buildings of three storeys or more (City of Melbourne). The price follows bedrooms and bathrooms, so a terrace and a unit of the same size cost the same; in a tower, plan the building entry, any lift booking and a parking space before the day (terms).

Fridge and kitchen cupboard interiors, interior window glass, blinds, wall washing, laundry, a balcony or patio and the garage are optional extras. Carpet steam cleaning is also separately selected, or can be booked on its own. Mould removal, regrouting, sealing and exterior windows are outside the service.
Extras and their prices are shown in booking.
OVEN CLEANING
Yes. Every deep clean includes the inside of the oven: the racks, the door glass and the interior.
A deep clean includes the oven, stovetop, rangehood and its filters. Add fridge and kitchen cupboard and drawer interiors if you need them cleaned during the same visit.
Add the inside of the oven in booking and it is priced into your total before you confirm. On a regular plan it is cleaned on the visit you add it to, not every visit.
Mention a heavily used oven in your booking notes. Baked-on carbon takes longer, and the team can plan the time.
BEFORE WE ARRIVE
No need to clean first. Clear the spaces you want cleaned inside, so the time goes on cleaning rather than moving things.
Take anything stored in the oven out. If you add inside fridge cleaning, empty the fridge before the visit.
If you add inside kitchen cupboard and drawer cleaning, empty the areas you want cleaned before the visit.
Put away what you can, so the surfaces underneath can be reached.
Mention heavy grease, stone or timber benchtops and anything delicate in your booking notes.
Add entry instructions if you won’t be home, arrange parking and keep pets secured.

Preparation helps the cleaner reach the agreed areas. Do not move heavy furniture or attempt unsafe access; discuss any obstruction or special requirement before the visit.
A little preparation gives the clean a clear starting point.
A deep clean covers more detailed work than a standard clean. Ask for the allowance for your rooms, condition and selected extras. Confirm whether it describes total cleaner-hours or how long the team expects to be in your home.
